Consultations*
If you have never had electrolysis before or simply wish to know more about electrolysis, you may schedule a consultation with me. I focus on educating you about electrolysis while giving you an opportunity to ask questions. No actual work will be performed during the consultation. A standard electrolysis session must be booked separately.
I am no longer giving free consultations. If you arrive on time and attend the consultation, the amount you pay will be deducted from your first electrolysis session. If you fail to show up or do not cancel the consultation more than 24 hours prior to the appointment, you will be charged for the appointment according to my cancelation policy.
Attendance
You must arrive on time! You will be charged for the entire amount of time that you book, and your session time will be reduced so I am not late for the next client.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your first appointment, since you must fill out a mandatory questionnaire and consent to perform electrolysis prior to treatment. Be prepared to answer questions regarding your medical history including a current list of medications and known allergies. Only questions relevant to electrolysis will be asked in order for me to tailor the treatment to your situation. ALL information is strictly used by me and only me to determine the best course of treatment and for future reference. Your personal information is never shared, sold, or given to anyone.
No-Shows & Late Cancelations
I am usually completely booked months ahead of time, and I have a long waiting list of people who want the appointment you already booked. I generously allow you to cancel or reschedule your appointment as late as 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel too late, you will be charged for the appointment. If I cannot charge the credit card on file for a no-show or late cancelation, you will no longer be allowed to return to Modern Electrolysis and will be blocked from booking.
Extended Sessions
If you arrive early and I am not currently working with another client, then I can start your treatment early if I am ready to proceed. If I do not have a client booked after your appointment is scheduled to end, I will give you the option to extend your appointment if additional time is desired.
Insurance
No, I do not accept insurance, and I do not work directly with any insurance companies. I can provide you with an invoice or “SuperBill” that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you. However, you must pay for the appointments on the day of treatment.
